GOLDIE - March 2, 1990 - April 27, 2006

The "Golden Girl" came into my life when she was 1 1/2 years old. I watched her leave "puppyhood" when she was 7 and mature into a sweet old gal. She was fond of road trips, baby carrots and robbing the garden of ripe tomatoes. She developed a habit of dramatically throwing herself on the ground every time she went outside. She had a dog treat ritual with her Auntie Kirsten - and only her! She loved to go to White Sands National Monument for full moon nights every summer, running up and down the dunes until she was as tired and dizzy as a toddler. She thought riding in the front seat of the VW bug was tops and always got lots of smiles...she may even have secretly taken it out for spins when I wasn't around.

I will miss her old, white face and wagging tail which could cheer me up in a heartbeat. How fortunate I have been to have had her in my life so long. Thank you sweet love....
